SILVER SPRING: Next month, Science Channel is slated to once again air Are We Alone?, a week-long alien-themed programming event.
Are We Alone? is scheduled to kick off on March 2 at 10 p.m. The event will feature world debut episodes of Close Encounters on March 4 at 10 p.m. and March 7 at 10:30 p.m. There will also be a special episode of Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman on March 5 at 10 p.m. Additional programming will include new episodes of NASA's Unexplained Files at 10 p.m. on March 2 and 6, and Alien Planet Earths at the same time on March 3.
"So many people are obsessed with the existence of aliens," noted Debbie Myers, the executive VP and general manager of Science Channel. "Are We Alone? ignites their imaginations with bold new questions, and engages current research happening in the field of extraterrestrial life. It's programming that asks questions and makes you think. We hope Are We Alone? advances the conversation even further."
