24 (FOX, January, Monday 9-10 p.m.) Jack Bauer and the Counter Terrorist Unit return to FOX for season seven.

American Dad (FOX, Sunday 9:30-10.) In this animated sitcom from Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane, Stan Smith is a hyper-alert CIA agent who lives with his wife, kids, a rescued alien and a talking goldfish.

America's Most Wanted: America Strikes Back (FOX, Saturday 9-10 p.m.) Viewers are encouraged to call in if they have information on people wanted by U.S. authorities.

Bones (FOX, Wednesday 8-9 p.m., January moves to Friday 8-9 p.m.) Dr. Temperance Brennan, a highly skilled forensic anthropologist, returns for a new season to assist in murder investigations when the standard methods of identifying a body fail.

Boston Legal (ABC, Monday 10-11 p.m.) David E. Kelley's drama about a team of high-priced civil lawyers, starring James Spader and William Shatner, returns for a fifth season.

NEW The Cleveland Show (FOX, Spring, Sunday 9:30-10 p.m.) Seth MacFarlane rolls out a new animated comedy about a Cleveland, a character on FOX's Family Guy.

Cops (FOX, Saturday 8-8:30 p.m., 8:30-9 p.m.) This series, one of the first reality shows on the air, remains a staple of the FOX Saturday-night schedule.

NEW Dollhouse (FOX, January, Monday 8-9 p.m.) Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer , brings a new drama about members of a highly illegal and underground group who have had their personalities wiped clean so that they can be imprinted with any number of personas.

NEW Do Not Disturb (FOX, Wednesday 9:30-10 p.m., January moves to Friday 9:30-10 p.m.) A workplace comedy set at one of New York City's hippest hotels: The Inn. The series is directed by Jason Bateman.

NEW The Ex List (CBS, Friday 9-10 p.m.) A comedic drama about a single, 30-something successful business owner who is surprised to learn from a psychic that she's already dated her future husband—and if she doesn't find him in the next year, she'll remain alone forever.

Family Guy (FOX, Sunday 9-9:30 p.m.) Subversive animated comedy that presents the everyday trials and tribulations of family life.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS, Monday 8-8:30 p.m.) Ensemble comedy from the point of view of a man looking back on his single life from 20 years in the future, as told to his two teenage children.

King of the Hill (FOX, Sunday 8:30-9 p.m.) This animated sitcom is entering another season on the FOX network.

NEW Life on Mars (ABC, Thursday 10-11 p.m.) Based on the BBC series of the same name, this drama revolves around Sam Tyler, a modern-day police detective who, after a car crash, mysteriously finds himself transported back to 1973 and still working as a detective.

My Name is Earl (NBC, Thursday 8-8:30 p.m.) Earl, Randy, Joy and the rest of the cast continue their karma crusade for the fourth season of the series.

Prison Break (FOX, Monday 8-9 p.m.) The drama returns for a fourth season.

The Simpsons (FOX, Sunday 8-8:30 p.m.) This animated sitcom is coming back for its 20th season on the air.

The Unit (CBS, Sunday 10-11 p.m.) David Mamet and The Shield's Shawn Ryan team for this drama about an ultra-secret contingent of special forces soldiers who operate outside the usual military chain of command.
